Set Hootie before the attacker’s window
Hootie buffs the active character. The Ultimate activates Paranormal Ace, adding a further attack buff and pausing Hootie’s duration. Team attacks build Four-Part Harmony into Ensemble. Establish those support effects before switching to the character whose field time matters most.
Arcs and cartridges
Blow up the Crowd supports Haniel’s off-field team buffing. Day Off trades some buff strength for more frequent Ultimates. Hethereau’s Keeper is a personal-damage alternative. Speedy Hedgehog supports Ultimate frequency and adds a team buff; avoid duplicating its non-stacking effect on several teammates.
Her attack buff depends on Base ATK, so simply stacking an ordinary ATK% passive does not necessarily enlarge the team buff. Choose equipment by its actual effect rather than the displayed personal attack number alone.
Team fit
A Chaos teammate enables Nova and Haniel’s attack-stealing enhancement. The full-copy Resonance adds party Crit DMG while Paranormal Ace is active. These are distinct effects; do not assume an early copy already supplies the complete package.
Acquisition and spending
The official launch FAQ lists Haniel in historical pre-registration rewards. Prydwen’s free-character record also lists story and Fracture Circle progression. Check which reward your account can still claim before spending for a duplicate. For a new roster, one well-equipped attacker with Haniel’s effects active is easier to evaluate than four partially built damage dealers.
