Worth pulling?
S-tier survival. Top S-Class Selector pick if missing Tank. Required for Discord/bossing teams.
Fadia is the top Tank in NTE at launch — a Psyche/Synthesis defender whose massive HP investment creates a damage absorption floor that enables aggressive DPS play from the rest of the team. In Discord Control and Bossing compositions, her presence is the difference between controlled execution and emergency healing resets. She is the first Tank worth selecting on the S-Class Selector if you have no alternative.
How to Play
Fadia’s role is simple but stat-hungry: survive, absorb damage that would interrupt your DPS, and periodically activate her Ultimate to trigger the Mental DMG post-Ult window (which benefits teammates in Psyche-heavy comps). Her personal damage output is secondary to survival uptime.
Survival-first stat targets:
- HP: 60,000+ — the primary investment target
- DEF: 1,200+ — caps damage reduction at practical thresholds
- ATK: 1,200+ — base for Mental DMG scaling post-Ult
- CRIT Rate: 5%+ — minimal, just enough for passive crit presence
- CRIT DMG: 50%+ — standard baseline
- Universal DMG: 20%+ — applies to Fadia’s Ult hits
HP is by far the most important stat. Fadia’s kit scales with max HP for her shields, damage mitigation thresholds, and certain A-node bonus calculations. At 60,000 HP she provides enough buffer to protect your DPS through most endgame boss attacks; below 40,000 HP, she begins to feel fragile in high-difficulty content.
Arc options:
| Arc | Key Effect | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Max HP +20–32% Arc + Mental DMG 10–18% post-Ult | Direct HP scaling + Ult payoff | Solo Tank, standard bossing |
| Same-element Break Intensity Arc (+70–126 with 3 same-element teammates) | Break support for Psyche-heavy teams | Discord team with Psyche DPS |
The HP Arc is the default choice. If you are running a Psyche-heavy team with multiple Psyche DPS characters alongside Fadia, the Break Intensity Arc adds a second contribution — Fadia participates in break acceleration while maintaining the Tank role.
Awakening priority:
| Node | Effect | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| A5 = A1 | Core rotation polish and survival improvement | First priority (tied) |
| A6 = A2 | Shield strength and cooldown improvements | Second priority |
| A3 | Incremental Ult enhancement | Third |
| A4 | Minor passive improvement | Lowest |
Unlike damage-focused characters where one node dominates, Fadia’s awakening tree is relatively flat — her core kit is functional from the start, and awakenings are incremental. Unlock A5 and A1 in whichever order materials allow.
Module set: Use HP% modules in every available slot. DEF% modules are acceptable as secondary fills if HP modules are unavailable. Do not invest CRIT or ATK% modules on Fadia — those slots are better used for your DPS characters.
Best Teams
Bossing: Fadia / Nanally / Sakiri / Daffodill. Fadia absorbs the boss counter-attacks that Daffodill’s aerial plunge combos cannot dodge. Without a Tank, aggressive plunge play risks breaking Daffodill’s Insight stacks from damage interrupts. See Daffodill’s build for Insight mechanic details and Nanally’s build for the Main DPS rotation this team protects.
Discord Control: Fadia / Nanally / Daffodill / Adler (or Sakiri). Fadia and Adler together create a layered defense — Adler’s shields absorb incoming damage before it hits Fadia’s HP, and Fadia’s HP buffer absorbs the overflow. In Discord teams where Daffodill and Adler are both contributing Incantation/Chaos reactions, Fadia’s Psyche element adds a potential third reaction surface for certain enemy types.

Worth Pulling?
Fadia is the only S-rarity dedicated Tank at launch with reliable performance in endgame content. If you lack a Tank entirely, she is the correct S-Class Selector choice — the selector costs no Annulith and guarantees an S-rarity character from the standard pool.
If you already have an alternative survival option (e.g., a healer covering the same role), Fadia becomes optional. However, Healer-as-Tank is a less efficient arrangement because healers in NTE generally lack the raw HP and DEF to absorb the burst damage patterns in Boss Rush.
For players who do not have the Selector available, pulling Fadia on a future rate-up is worthwhile if you find yourself repeatedly failing boss stages due to party knockouts. Check the tier list for where Fadia stands in the current meta and review the bossing team guide for her exact slot in the recommended composition.
